Bed was excellent. Lighting was on point. Storage space and division of spaces was awesome. Common spaces were nice. Having a kitchen and dining area was a nice touch.

"Light in the apartment is great, it inspired me to explore the texture of the materials, next creating a comfortable, soft and feminine space with Scandinavian touch but still very Brazilian," Chu said.

On the ground floor the living room connects entirely with the garden, where there is a small artificial lake. Fish and plants help maintain the biological balance of the pool without the use of chemical products that assail the environment. This environmental thought permeated the entire project which incorporated principles of sustainability established by rigid standards, similar to certifications.
The two-storey house is built with a suite of simple materials including steel frames, cement blocks and the CobogoÌ bricks – a hollow ceramic block commonly used across South America to allow for ventilation and lighting in the hot climate.
The bricks, which are typically used to provide ventilation and shade inside Brazilian homes, are characterised by their decorative perforated patterns, which are used here en masse to striking effect
the cobogo plays the role of a bricks on a wall, as to allow air circulation and sunlight inside homes, a thermal comfort solution.
Used as partition walls to separate rooms, the cobogó create unusual graphics and light effects around the apartment.
